User Management

OneRank provides three built-in user roles:

  1. Reader
  2. Maker
  3. Admin

Role Descriptions

Reader

  • The Reader role is a free role with limited privileges.
  • Readers can view all available information but cannot make any changes.

Maker

  • Makers have access to a range of capabilities.
  • They can manage roadmaps, tickets, teams, and integrations and configure them.
  • This role is available as a paid option, typically after a trial period.

Admin

  • Admins have the highest level of access and control.
  • This role is available as a paid option.
  • They can perform all actions available to Maker users.
  • Admins can manage other users within the system.
  • They have the authority to create, update, and delete definitions and their attributes.

Tenant Owner

When a new tenant is provisioned, the first user automatically receives the Admin role and also becomes the tenant owner. As a tenant owner, the user gains the privilege to upgrade to a subscription plan and manage it.
